Need a nice condo in Maui for August (in two weeks)

Looking for a nice condo in Wailea for August. Any last minute ideas? Budget is $150 and stay is 3 weeks.

Thanks.

It's very late in the game for a longish stay.

Folks chiming in with, "oh, this place is great, we'll never stay anywhere else, yada, yada" won't help much when those properties turn out to be booked. Best start sifting through some availability calendars ...

BTW, for Wailea, hope you meant $150 per week ;)

You'll do better in south Kihei for sure.

You are going to be hard pressed to find something for $150.00 a night in Wailea. You may want to consider Kihei. Kihei Kai Nani might be an option for you. Right across the street from Kamaole II beach with some really nicely upgraded units for not a lot of money.

Yes - you will have to do some fast searching for availability - this might work -- http://www.halepauhana.com/

Hale Pau Hana has one 8-story building and 2 low rise buildings with 77 units; right in front of Kamaole II beach.

Hale Pau Hana, 2480 S Kihei Rd., Kihei, HI 96753

800-804-6835 or via Maui Vacation properties; 800-782-6105

But I don't know about that price range - maybe $150/night ... if you go to other places nearer central Kihei; NOT on the beach you might meet that price but not in nicer areas or Wailea.

If you get stuck, upcountry has more options closer to this price range, even Peace of Maui for $55 per night for a couple

Well, there may be more availability than you might think. It's been slow bookings for August -- at least for us in Kamaole. We're now full for August, but September is vacant. I could be convinced the economy isn't as robust as Washington would like us to believe.

Yo! Canada! Come on down!LOL

you won't get anything for that price in Hale Pau Hana which is why I suggest KKN, there are plenty of North Kihei condos that are more affordable also.

The Sugar Beach Resort (oceanfront with nice pool and good beach

We're trying Kihei Kai Nani, 2495 S. Kihei Rd., across the street from Kamaole Beach 2--I called my contact there last week and rented a second condo for 8/7-14, one-bedroom with A/C in the living room; it's a favorite on TA Kihei hotel "other lodging" list--It's about two miles north of Wailea and very favorably priced.
