Back East many people including us do not wear white after labor day.

How about in SLC?

Thank You

People in SLC really don't care very much about fashion issues or trends..so wear whatever you want and enjoy the beautiful city!

I really wasn't sure what to make on this one. Definitely, don't worry about it.

Welcome to the west. Fashion doesn't exist here until you get to southern California. In Palm Desert there's a resurgence of white shoes and matching belts. Or maybe it just never went away...

When I saw this I had to take a look. The responses are correct not an issue.

Then I thought why is this an issue. This article from Time is very interesting. Take a look.

I ALWAYS change from white to RED underwear after Labor Day. Thought it was the law.

LOL !!

Thanks for the link riverpeople. So it is an elitist eastern thing, those of us in the west have much more important things to think about. :-)

Wow...I had no idea that there were still fashion rules in the East about wearing white after Labor Day! I'm not picking on you, just totally amazed as I am a born and raised westerner, have never followed fashion rules. We even wear cowboy boots with skirts out here and a t-shirt and jeans can be worn to the Santa Fe Opera!! LOL!

Now there are a few places I would not wear white...on the Durango/Silverton Train as the coal dust tends to blacken the white clothing and in certain areas of the SW desert where the red sand can also stain any white clothing items.

Have a great, relaxing trip to SLC and the West! Enjoy!

Wow things are different in NYC.

Even the gym we belong to.

Most of the men and all the women always wear coordinated outfits

to work out in.

Old worn out sneakers are never worn.
