We are fortunate to have so many diverse museums in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The International Museum of Folk Art (my personal favorite) in Santa Fe; and museums pertaining to ballooning, nuclear energy, and natural history in Albuquerque, are but a few examples. They all in one way or another compliment one another in providing visitors with both information, and entertainment.
??? This is the second post recently mentioning perceived problems with the staff at the Albuquerque Museum; but I too think much of the tightening of security comes from the addition in recent times of some really, first class exhibits. While I too at times have felt like I was being watched, on the other hand I've found the guards at the museum to be rather well versed in information if called upon.
If we would all try to take in a museum each month, it would take quite a while to visit them all. Let's not forget the Rattlesnake Museum in Old Town. Although many choose to forget it, LOL. Not for everyone's tastes, but what is?
