Hotel advice

Spending our last night in NM in Albuquerque arriving mid morning from Santa Fe. We have an early 7:50am flight the next day. We would like to spend that day seeing a bit of Albuquerque maybe Old Town or something? Any recommendation on a hotel that would be close to the airport no more than say 15 minutes or so but still convenient to sightseeing our last day?

Even if you stay by the airport, it is a quick drive to/from Old Town. With most of a day you can see Old Town, maybe visit Petroglyph Nat Mon and have some great food. www.itsatrip.org

Thank you for advice. I think we will stay at the airport. We'll have a car to go exploring for the day.

ABQ is not a very big city so if you are trying to stay 15 miles away from the airport, you can stay either Downtown, Uptown or Old Town. Those 3 areas will keep you within 15 miles from the airport and also keep you within distance from things to do and see.
