hyatt hill country

I am taking my 80 year old father for his birthday to Hyatt Hill Country. He uses a cane and I am wondering if the property is too big for him to walk around and enjoy.

Do they offer any assistance for elders?

There can be as much or little walking as he is up to. If he were to do all the grounds, touring the various pools, yes, it would be a lot, but the back porch is lined with rocking chairs and the landscaping views out the back, all planted and in bloom, are just beautiful. The first pool, the "lazy river", is quite close to the hotel. Some of the rooms have balconies overlooking the property as well.

I'm not sure what you mean by assistance for elders? Golf carts or the like? If so, no...they are available for the golf course only. If you will be there a few days and you think he would use a wheelchair, perhaps one could be arranged via the concierge so he could get around the entire property. The grounds really are lovely.

I agree with OO the scenery is beautiful & can be seen from the balcony.

I would call them to see what they have to offer as in assistance for elders to know for sure what they offer or have there.
