What exactly do you want to do when "doing the Hill Country"? Do you just want a scenic drive? Do you want to shop? Eat? Zip line? Hike? Visit historic sites? Also, what day of the week are you planning for?

I know you've been planning quite a bit, but not sure what you already have planned and what you may be missing.

We are thinking historic sites, or just fun places . We are thinking enchanted ranch if anyone has any info. on it. We are not thinking anything like zip lining or hiking. we also don't just want to drive around.

I gave you the website for Enchanted Spring Ranch it's a great place to visit lots to see & do. They have a wagon that takes you around the ranch to see the animals & sites. They have an old town, gunslinger show, chuck-wagon dinner. The above website has all the info on it.

If you like historic you could take a drive to Johnson City where the 36th President Lyndon Johnson lived & there is lots to see & do www.lbjcountry.com

You can visit Bandera the Cowboy Capital of the World www.banderacowboycapital.com
