Buckhorn Saloon & Museum and other attractions--questions.

BACKGROUND INFO: This will be our first trip to San Antonio. We are planning a 4 day stay at a Riverwalk hotel in December. We will land at airport and take taxi to hotel--we do not intend to rent a car (someone advised us that we could see a lot by walking and by bus and trolley---without the worry of finding parking for a rental car).

QUESTIONS: We plan to see as many of the "must see" atractions as we can in 4 days---However, it would be nice to have tips from travelers about discount tickets BEFORE we go to the attractions not after. Example: In reading the Trip Advisor Forums, there was a comment by one traveler that admission to Buckhorn Museum = $20.00---another traveler mentioned (but gave no details) a coupon for Museum admission---still another traveler mentioned that admission to Museum was free if one ate a meal at the Saloon. Please advise --on this (i.e. the Buckhorn) --and other helpful tips about admission to other attractions in and around the downtown and Riverwalk area. Thanks for any help and avice. Jim.
