Shoppers, note: Christmas Tree Shops on NF Blvd!

I just came back from the Barnes & Noble plaza on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst (north of Boulevard Mall) and was shocked to see a brand-new Christmas Tree Shop on the north side of the plaza. I'm originally from Massachusetts, and these stores are a huge draw for lots of shoppers. They have a big selection of deeply discounted stuff (mostly imports).

The one on NF Blvd. is not open yet, according to the chain's website, but I expect it will start up before Christmas. If you're planning a shopping trip to the area, it's something to keep in mind.

I saw the store last week also, looking forward to checking it out. It is located where K Mart was located near the exit of the 290.

I shop in that plaza fairly often, and I don't remember seeing that in recent weeks, so it was a surprise when it suddenly appeared. Funny that nobody's been talking about it.

The store opened yesterday, but I haven't been there. I'm sure it will be mobbed in the first few weeks.
