Yes, you can get a Greyhound bus (http://www.greyhound.com) from Buffalo to New York City.
For your trip to the Falls, just be aware that after you cross the Rainbow Bridge (for example), you'll be in the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario, not Toronto, Ontario. The drive to Toronto takes about an hour and a half from the Falls.
Have fun!
Hi yummycha;
Just to expand on Pastiche's reply...
Toronto is approx. 80 miles / 130 km from Niagara Falls.
Best Regards
yeah most definately probably catch a flight.
i am really keen on seeing the falls and doing the maid of the mist.
but is 2 days really enough??
and how far is the cheesecake factory from the falls?? haha
When will you be here?? The Maid of the Mist only operates in the warmer season.
Not sure about the Cheesecake Factory, but I think there's one in the Galleria Mall which is near the Buffalo Niagara Airport.

hey
if i do end up going to buffalo i will be there in early august.
August will be perfect for Niagara Falls and the Maid of the Mist, and the weather in general here!
Megabus (http://www.megabus.com) is a very close competitor to Greyhound. But it operates with a different business model. You must make your purchase either on the internet, or over the phone. There are no "stations" , only stops. I have traveled on it in the midwest some 25 times. Most trips have been really good, and some of them only cost $1. Note however, that some have some "war stories" to tell (check on www.yelp.com). Oh, also note that generally the earlier you purchase your Megabus ticket, the lower the cost.
does anyone know about $ 1 bus ticket from buffalo to new york city? can anyone tell me more about that?
Did you read the reply above yours about those fares? All of the information you need is right there.
