Any good advice for having no car in Buffalo? - VisitNiagara

Thinking about stopping by Buffalo while we're in the East Coast but wouldn't have a car. One of the things we'd like to do is spend a day at Niagara falls. Anyone know of any tours that offer hotel pickup for a day at the falls?? Or do you just recommend taking the bus and walking to all the tourist spots and boat adventures out there?

You can easily walk to more than enough tourist spots for a day in the Falls on foot. The few sights on the US side are all clustered around downtown. For the most part the same is true for the Canadian side. The only places that might be out of reach are the butterfly conservatory \ marine land etc but that depends on what you like if those are important or not.

Walk between the US and CAN sides of the falls is also a lot of fun by itself. Crossing the Rainbow Bridge is really breathtaking. Plus there isn't a line or a hug toll.

As for getting around Buffalo, it is also really easy to do by foot and there are plenty of Bus routes to take you from downtown to just about anywhere you need to go.
