best way from BUF to Niagara Falls Marriott ?

We'll ( 2 adults + 1 8yr) landing BUF on Sat Aug around 12:00 noon. wondering what's the best way to get the "Niagara Falls Marriott Gateway On The Falls'" on Canada side?

1. is there a city bus from airport to border crossing?

2. price different between take bus and taxi to the border crossing?

3. how long the line if we crossing on foot with 3 carry on luggage?

4. after border crossing, how easy to get a bus or taxi to the hotel?

5. best way you'd take ?

Thx ahead

1. There is an NFTA bus from the airport to the Rainbow Bridge. It is the Airport Shuttle, route #210, and has somewhat limited service, but is only $1.75 for adults and 75¢ for kids and takes about 45 minutes.

2. I'm guessing that a taxi would be in the $40-$50 range at least

3. Crossing the bridge/border on foot is very common and very easy. Lineups are minimal and it's 50¢ each.

4. Taxis are readily available at the hotels very near the bridge exit.. Probably another $15 to the hotel. Another option is to take the People Mover bus (which you can get about a block from the bridge) to the bottom of the Incline Railway, at Table Rock Centre, and then ride up the Incline. A day pass for both is $10 for adults and $6.05 for kids. The Marriot is a block from the top of the Incline.

5. The least expensive is the airport shuttle, walk across the border, People Mover/Incline. Total cost for 3 - $30. But this also takes the longest time and involves some walking.

As another options, Jewel of Niagara Limo offers a shuttle service from the airport right to your hotel for $80 total.

BTW, don't forget that adults require passports and kids need birth certificates to cross the border.

Just remembered another option for the Canadian side:

The Falls Shuttle bus (which you also get a block from the bridge) will take you right to your hotel. Fares are $3.50 for adults and $1.00 for kids, or $10 each for an adult day pass (which includes kids free).

Yes, they accept U.S. currency, but the fare may be a bit more as the Canadian dollar is worth more than the U.S. dollar. There is no advance purchase available.
