After Bisons Game

Heading to a Sunday afternoon Bisons game in July and planning on staying in the area for dinner later. Have been searching for something to do for a couple of hours after the game (besides sitting in a bar), but not having much luck. We were thinking of a river cruise, or the like, but times aren't good. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Buffalo Tours have tours of the City on Sunday. However not sure of the times but here is a link .

You might want to catch a Shakespear play in Delaware Park on a Sunday evening

Hope this helps

You'll probably find something interesting going on at Canalside:

Hi fallsdude, Since you'll be downtown you might want to check-out Canalside. They have "battle of the bands" concerts on Sundays. You can also rent kayaks on the Buffalo River. Here are links to Canalside: canalsidebuffalo.com/things-to-do/… canalsidebuffalo.com/things-to-do/…events

You might also check-out the Buffalo & Erie County Naval Park for a tour of a navy battleship and a submarine - careful, you have to go up and down narrow stairways - not for the faint of heart or "tipsy" people. They're open 'til 5pm everyday in summer: http://buffalonavalpark.org/

If you'd like to take a ramble, then check-out Elmwood Avenue between Bidwell Pkwy. and Summer Street for shops, restaurants, and people-watching. The residential streets off Elmwood Avenue are amongst Buffalo's best if you want to get off the beaten path.

Enjoy!

Thanks to both (great minds). Canalside looks like a good prospect.

I found Buffalo River History Tour that leaves at 4:30pm from Canalside. Having never been to a AAA ball game before, do they typically finish in 3 hours, giving us time to get there from the park?
