Long weekend in Newport--which mansions are must-sees?

We are planning a long weekend in Newport RI. We will probably only have time to tour two or three mansions. Which are the best of the best?

The Breakers is the most spectacular of the group. A definite must see. The other two I'd chose are Marble House and The Elms.

Just did a couple of the mansion tours The breakers and yesterday Marbel house. Both are exceptional but out of the 2 Marbel house was may favourite. You get given audio players to listen to and it's quite informative. There is plenty of flexibility with tickets on when and where you can visit. Currently considering the elms of which there are x 2 tours one that deals with the servant side of things and the more general house tour.

Don't forget there is always Doris Duke's mansion Rough Point, a real mansion for a real person, great story- I think it still cost more though.

I really liked the Elms and Breakers. I think I enjoyed the Elms even more.
