Thanksgiving in Newport

I'm thinking about flying out to Newport for Thanksgiving with my husband who will be there for a school. Any suggestions for a nice place to dine that evening? We aren't tied to traditional Turkey Day food so I'm open to anything.

Thanks in advance.

Aloha!

We have enjoyed dining at the Moorings on Thanksgiving in the past. When the time gets closer, I would look at the list on "opentable.com to see who will be open.

Plenty of spots will be open...just a matter of where you want to go!

I've pasted this from somebody's question last year....info stays the same.....

This is a quick copy/paste from a list in the paper a few years back, but the restaurants listed are usually open on Thanksgiving Day. The prices might have changed a bit (though I doubt too much)

I haven't really seen anything about this year though. It seems that each year a few more restaurants throw their hat into the ring and offer Thanksgiving options...
