The Marriott is across the street from the beach and it is a nice section of Waikiki, just be sure to try and get a room in the front tower.

Thanks for all of your help. What are the restaurants in the Marriott besides the sushi one. are they any good?

The sushi restaurant is actually connected to a steak restaurant as well. We ate on the steak side, and it was one of the best meals I had our entire stay. Highly rec. it!

Also, just want to add that we loved the marriott! Stayed in the front "K" tower and it was perfect!

There are also hundreds of restaurants within minutes of the Marriott. You're not going to have a hard time finding something to eat, you'll have a hard time choosing which one.

I'm not sure about the surfing but you will be directly in front of a great portion of Waikiki Beach. I also agree about the large variety of restaurants in walking distance. Don't limit yourself to just the hotel - there are tons of other places to eat for all palates!

We had the breakfast buffet several times at the hotel and it was super yummy! There is also an Italian restaurant right on the street, I think it was called Arancino's...Omg, it was delicious. Their pineapple juice was amazingly good, i still dream about it.

Hi , now I am confused. I thought the front tower

of Marriott hotel is supposed to be the noisy tower

( music playing in either this hotel or the next

door hotel till way past midnight, and music

startin really early in the morning ) , so is

the front or the back tower better ? I do not

remember the name of the front or back tower?

thanks for your clarification. Our whole family

will be going there shortly

The front tower is the one closest to the beach. I have never heard complaints before about it being noisy.

Hi T/C,

I have stayed in the back tower in room 1308

which overlooks the the back half of the front

tower and inverse and it all has the same ghetto

look and is VERY POOR Value. If you cannot get

something decent then you should try elsewhere.

In reality upgrades cost the hotel nothing and

are good for business. "Run of the House" means

nothing for you. Personally I would try Maui for

the beach scene without hassle like at Kihei.

Whatever you decide have a great holiday.NWF
