Dolphin Excursions


Can anyone comment on this company and what they thought of their tour/experience on the tour etc.

You'll find substantial opposition to the dolphin tours. They all operate in the same area on the west side where the spinner dolphins congregate in shallow water to rest. Boatloads of tourists draw their attention and disrupt their rest periods.

People who place high importance on minimizing human impact on the environment would like to see these tours outlawed. There are others who reject the notion the tours are harmful despite substantial evidence to the contrary.

At the end of the day, economics rule. Tourists get drawn into activities where they can see dolphins in the wild, usually having no idea of the harm they may be doing. I am in this group and am not proud of it. If I had known, I would have passed on this.
