For those who may fall for discounted tour offers around the city and all they have to do is listen to a 60 minute presentation on luxury vacations which then becomes 90 minutes which then becomes a morning....beware. You will notice that nobody provides their last name or a business card. They hide behind word semantics and then try and sell the dream of discounted luxury vacations at a cost of course. They don't let you interact with any other participants once the presentation starts. You can't go to the bathroom and they watch you turn your cell phones off. This of course all sounds very normal doesn't it. They say that at the end of the presentation if you say NO then that's it. Of course it's not it. They try and pressure you and continuously cut the price. So if you sign up at all and do it right away you likely overpaid. If this were such a great deal it would be everywhere but of course they hide behind more words and tell you that they can't because it would undercut their suppliers or some jibberish like that. In the end you will get your discounted promotion that you originally went there for however a morning of your time on vacation is not likely woth the savings unless of course you fall for there vacation sale. Even their website offers little info and of course no name contacts anywhere. Gotta love it!

Sounds like you're just angry at yourself for not getting up and walking away. Timeshare presentations are notoriously high pressure; however, Hawai'i has some pretty good laws protecting the consumer. Amberloo has posted them previously.

If you're getting something for free or at a deep discount remember the saying "you don't get someting for nothing".

Of course I am. It wasn't really a time share just a bunch of rhetoric and you are precisely correct about something for nothing that's why we didn't buy their pitch.

Aloha,

This is just the latest name for "Paradise Dreams", "Pacific Dreams", etc., etc. They are the head of Tickets on the Rock.......another crooked operation.

Yes, they sell a "software license" which supposedly gets you "GREAT DEALS ON VACATIONS ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Not. Not. Not. I wish the state would finish all the complaints against them and also revoke their license. But it's Hawaii and things move slowly.

Aloha,

If you run a search on those names you will get plenty of threads here on TA. Also try "Tickets on the Rock" and you'll see more.

Complaints allege that the company's sales presentations mislead the actual savings realized by using the program and availability of accommodations, consumers are unable to examine the program within the cancellation time frame, and difficulties in reaching customer service.
