Makaha, Hawaiian Princess??

Hi -

I'm thinking of booking a condo at the Hawaiian Princess resort in Makaha but I'm wondering if we'll be TOO far removed from things. It looks beautiful, but we'll be doing some "touristy" stuff like PCC, Pearl Island, etc and I'm trying to weigh the nuisance of staying on noisy, hectic Waikiki beach vs. the nuisance of driving an hour to do anything.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!

PEARL HARBOR

Re: is you do choose the Princess be aware

that if you go there in the AM, you will

have to contend with TONS (check the webcam)

at the city and county of Honolulu) of

Traffic heading to Work in DOWNTOWN Honolulu.

Other folks will have good hints on

Stay Options.

if you go to Pearl Harbor to see the

Arizona Memorial etc coming in from Makaha Side with a stay at the Hawaiian Princess,

Morning traffic is quite heavy.

We stayed at the Hawaiian Princess last January. Yes it can be a long drive, but we planned several things together and other days we stayed at the condo.

The beach is very uncrowded and I would stay there again. To me it was worth the driving to stay someplace quite.
