Suggestions on where to stay

My son is stationed at Schofield with his wife, and we are planning a trip for June and want to stay close to them, but also want to spend a day up at North Shore and another day at Pearl Harbor, so we want to be centrally located, if possible. We just don't want to be too far away from everything ... any help would be appreciated. There are so many different areas on Oahu and it is a bit overwhleming! :)

I don't know of any hotels in the Wahiawa (Schofield) area. None of the areas where the hotels are located is "centrally" located; however, O'ahu isn't that big and driving is easy. No idea what your budget is...so it's hard to say where you should go. Waikiki will be where you will find the most choices. If you drive during non-rush hour times, Waikiki is about 35-40 minutes to Wahiawa. Traffic could add considerable time. You could also look at the Ko'Olina area. Shorter potential drive to Schofield, but longer to everywhere else.

Your best bet is just to stay in Waikiki. You don't save that much time staying closer to Schofield and then you would be in an area really inconvenient for everything else. Use the links below to look at hotels in Waikiki. Ignore the rack rates, you can do better at most places.
