Yeah, I, too, think that's Shark's Cove.
HOWEVER, it's only accessible like that part of the year (summer, I think). During the winter, there are big waves in those parts that render Shark's Cove inaccessible.
I'd do some googling/reading about it before you go if I were you!
Lots of tide pools around Shark's Cove. One of my favorite places to snorkel on Oahu. As beacheeme say's it's nasty up there when the waves are big. No going into the water unless it's 2 feet or less. This weekend, it was up to 10 feet!!
My trip is at the end of May, so hopefully it will be calmer. Thanks for the tips!
We couldn't go last time we were in December because of winter but this September we definitely plan on snorkeling there.
Yes, it's Shark's Cove in Pupukea in the North Shore. There is a Foodland Market directly across the street. A great place to snorkel, but please do not walk on the coral (rocks), like the people in the picture!
