Aussie Travellers - Expressions of Interest - Jetstar Flight

I purchased a return flight Sydney to Honolulu in May 2013 but it looks like I won't be able to travel now. The flight includes meals, comfort pack, entertainment pack, 15kg checked luggage and has name change and date change capacity (for a fee). Do you think anyone would be interested if I advertised it on Ebay or somewhere similar? I've never been in a position where I wasn't able to travel before, so I'm not sure how to go about it. Any info appreciated.

I feel for you Vicki..!!...Terrible situation to be in tho' I'm sure it has happened lots....I have seen travel tickets advertised on Ebay and also Gumtree tho' for reduced prices or bidding starting at a low price....Please PM me what price you are wishing to offload the ticket....I am interested in it,tho' it means I will have to purchase another ticket for my spouse....Was looking at May/June anyway....Deciding either Bali or Honolulu...!!

Did you not take out travel insurance when you booked?

If so, you could get your money back????

I have got travel insurance but it doesn't cover changes of plans because of work related issues (no travel insurance does) - I think redundancy may be covered but I haven't been made redundant.

Unfortunately not. This was the only time I had available.
