Ramada Downtown vs. Raddison in KY

Coming in town for a ball game. The Ramada on Linn and 8th was the only hotel available in the downtown area. There is also the Raddison availble across the river. Is the Ramada in a decent area? Easy access to GABP? Would you rather stay accross the river? We are looking for nightlife after the game also. Thanks for any help!

Definitely go with the Radisson (Covington, KY) if it is in the same ballpark with regard to price. You will have to either drive, city bus or take a taxi to everything from the Ramada. If the rooms there are taken by the time you read this, consider the Comfort Inn and the Holiday Inn Express in Bellview (Newport), KY.

Agree, definitely go with the Raddison. I, personally, would not stay at Linn and 8th.

Cross the river!!! After party is great. You do not want to be at Linn and 8th. Used to live in Chi-town and feel compelled to advise well. It has to be asked....Cubs or Sox???

We just stayed at the Ramada at Linn and 8th this past weekend, and I posted my review. I hope you went with Kentucky Raddison. The Ramada there was horrible!
