lodging critique, am i booked too any places?

i probably know the answer to this, but wanted some input:

as you know, booking lodging in yellowstone in aug can be challenging....i will be calling back to the reservation site often to see if anything else opens up...hopefully something will so i don't have to move

will be staying 4 nights at grand teton (lodging fine there), then we move to yellowstone area for 3 nights

1. 8/16 lake yellowstone hotel "frontier cabin" $70

2. 8/17 canyon lodge "pioneer cabin" $135

3. 8/18 holiday inn, west yellowstone(can actually stay there all three nites if i wish) ...cost about $200 per nite

not to worried about the cost...am traveling with 2 kids plus wife....any suggestions?..comments?...if i HAD to, is this itinerary terrible?...thanks in advance

depends on what all you want to do. i actually like staying at different places. i might try staying one night in cody and/or red lodge. the rodeo is great as is the buffalo bill museum.
