We are going to have a trip to Yellowstone in early June. We are not sure about the traffic at that time, so we need advice from experience travelers for planning our trip.
1. Is it possible if we start from Jackson at 9:00 AM, take highway 89, make 3 stops (each stop 15-30 mins) for taking photo of Grand Tetons, and arrive at Old Faithful Inn at 1:00 PM? Based on Google Map, distance and driving time from Jackson to Old Faithful is 97 miles and 2 hours.
2. If we leave Old Faithful Inn at 3:00 PM, then take the Fairy Falls trail, just to see Grand Prismatic Spring from the hill above (won't spend much time up there), may spend some time at Lower Basin Geyser, are we able to arrive to West Yellowstone at around 6:00 PM?
