traveling to Yellowstone from Madison Wi

What is the most scenic route 90 or 94? Traveling with a cat. Can we visit Yellowstone? Perhaps only a day drive through. Does the trip to the Grand Tetons take a long time. We are on our way to California then.

I'm from Illinois and when we go to YNP, we end up on 90 through Mn and S. Dakota and then into Wy. I like how S. Dakota changes at a certain point and you have the rolling hills and Badlands. Also Wy is very scenic especially going over the Big Horn Mtns. The Tetons are about 100 miles South of YNP,

Only some of the cabins within Yellowstone allow pets, not the hotels:


For lodging in the gateway towns that allow pets check for West Yellowstone or Gardiner on:


Of course, cage kitty for driving through Yellowstone & Tetons.

Yellowstone deserves a couple of nights!
