Honeymoon 25 Oct to 2 Nov

We are going to be in the area for our Honeymoon from 25 Oct to 2 Nov. We will be staying in Jackson at base of Teton National Forest. We plan on visiting the Teton National Forest as well as Yellowstone during our trip. I know being this late in the season there will be a lot of places closed but have to make the best of the dates we made. Any recommendations of what we can do around this time and also if there is something that we just won't be able to do. Appreciate any input that you all have to offer.

Thanks.

Be prepared for cold temperatures and snow! Temporary road closures are possible due to snow so your plans need to be very flexible while you are in the area. If you are not used to driving in winter conditions and snow it would be best to limit your activities to the Jackson area if the weather turns bad.

Here is a link to the dates that facilities close in Yellowstone. The only place still selling food in Yellowstone at the time of your visit will be the Geyser Grill (fast food) at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge.

Note that all park roads except the one from Mammoth Hot Springs to Cooke City (outside the NE Entrance) will close on November 3 so your visit coincides with the end of the season in Yellowstone. Due to construction, the road from West Thumb to Old Faithful will close on September 2nd and the road from Canyon to Tower closes on October 14.
