RV campground heading out of Yosemite to Lake Tahoe

We are RV camping in Yosemite for 4 nights in August and then driving to Lake Tahoe. On our fourth day we thought we would drive to the east entrance and camp near Lee Vining (so we are heading in the right direction) but all campgrounds seem to be first come first served. Are there any reservable campgrounds in that area?

There are forest service campgrounds that take reservations in the Twin Lakes area near Bridgeport but they are several miles off the highway. A better choice might be the RV Park at Willow Springs. This is right on 395 near the Bodie turnoff. They don't seem to have a website but their phone number is 760/932-7725.

It might be easier to just drive a few miles south of Lee Vining and camp at June Lake. Oh Ridge campground is very nice and you can reserve a spot:

I would go to Bridgeport, only about 20 miles north of Lee Vining Here are the results of a google on RV campgrounds.

Evidently there is no need to go south before going north to Lake Tahoe. Good luck.

There is an RV park in Lee Vining, but I've not been there. Here are reviews of it:
