Questions about Laoag airport, Hotel Tiffany, etc.

Greetings! I had a few questions in advance of an upcoming trip to the Ilocos region:

(1) We fly into Laoag from MNL, arriving late night. Are taxis available at Laoag Airport to take us directly to Hotel Tiffany? If yes, what should be the approximate cost?

(2) Is Hotel Tiffany a safe place to leave bags (incl. valuables and passports) after check-out if we want to sightsee during the day before our return flight to MNL? I ask because the flight leaves at 9:00 PM while the hotel check-out time is 11:00 AM, and we would want to spend the afternoon sightseeing before heading to the airport.

(3) Are the Pagudpud beaches possible to visit as a day-trip from Laoag without spending the night in Pagudpud? If so, are there places one could shower at after swimming in the sea to rinse off the salt? Also, is June a good time to visit these beaches or will it be too rainy/stormy?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

1. Re: Questions about Laoag airport, Hotel Tiffany, etc.

(1) Have your hotel pick you up. This is what we did and prices were reasonable.

(2) Check the reviews:

(3) Yes it can be done as a day trip but Pagudpud is a nicer place to stay than Laoag.

This place in Laoag is lovely and has a fanrtastic restaurant:
