kayak vs other luminescent tours /other island stops/activit

I heard from someone that the kayaking can be tricky. Anyone recommend one type of tour over another? We will have 4 nights in Luquillo and plan a day trip to either Vieques or Culebra.

Did you ferry or take a flight over? What does it cost to fly to island from Fajardo?

Should we just snorkel in Fajardo or book a sail/snorkel tour/

I took the kayak tour of the bio-bay. It was a two-person kayak, so the tricky part is coordinating your strokes with your partner.

You need to navigate a narrow mangrove canal to get to the lagoon, and that is where you'll see some slow motion "accidents" as kayakers traveling in opposite directions get a bit tangled.

But, the guides are good in advising you about that and it's not that bad. We slighty hit one boat and on the way back got caught in a 4-5 boat jam. Everyone was laughing because we are were a bit helpless for a bit...

It was funny to hear one couple (leaving the lagoon as we entered) on the verge of what sounded like a 'divorce'. So just remind yourself and partner to practice that teamwork.

It was one of the best times I've had in Puerto Rico.
