EAAA Bus Timetables Online?

I am looking for specific EAAA bus timetables from Northern Greece (Serres) or Bansko to Dupnitsa in any language. The website (rta.government.bg) has plenty of administrative and regulatory information, but I can't seem to find a link to bus schedules. Does the homepage have an icon I might be overlooking? Any help in finding this information would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you! We actually plan on taking a bus from Kavala to Bansko in late June, then taking a bus and train to visit our friend near Dupnica. I've looked at Avtogari.info but will check it out again.

Hi, Tim,

I never found that link but made reservations for Kaleia Travel's one daily bus trip from Kavala to Bansko: Depart Kavala 4:15 p.m. Arrive Bansko 7:30 p.m.

Reservations by phone or online are required. It's best to use Kaleia's Facebook page to make reservations well in advance if you want to hear back from an agent in English. Then, buy tickets on the day of travel at the KTEL Kavala bus station. The Kaleia logo is on the bus, which might be a minibus. Show those tickets to the driver, who probably will speak only Bulgarian. Our driver took our tickets and wrote up a different set of tickets for us. We didn't get the logic of having two tickets issued twice over, but whatever.

The Facebook page is accessible using Kaleia's website: http://en.kaleiatravel.com/

To get from Bansko to Dupnitsa, we first took one of the many afternoon buses from Bansko to Blagoevgrad -- no reservations necessary. Bankso.org has a convenient page showing bus schedules to many destinations: http://bansko.org/bansko_bus_schedule.

After a two-hour snack break in Blagoevrad, we took a 35-minute evening train from Blagoevgrad to Dupnitsa: http://bdz.bg/en/. There are also Union Ivkoni and Trans 5/Trance 5 (??) buses from Blagoevgrad to Dupnitsa with published schedules on their company websites.

What a project this leg of our journey was! Hope this helps.
