Hi I want to catch the train to Rocamadour from Figeac on a sunday. Will there be many tourist in September and what suggestions for accommodation. Thanks

The station at Rocamadour is 5km from the village itself. A nice walk on a nice day, perhaps not if it is raining. I am sure you know that only three trains stop there on Sundays.

Rocamadour is pretty popular but the hordes of July and August will have gone.

Sorry I cannot help regarding accommodation as I have never stayed there.

As noted, your transportation options are limited. Rocamadour is always busy, but it likely won't be heaving with tourists in September. I would never consider staying IN Rocamadour, but the lovely Domaine de la Rhue isn't far away.
