Help with Itinerary to North Spain In August

Hi--

My friend and I will be visiting North Spain in August. We love nature, and are active. We were flying in and out of Barcelona. We were thinking of spending a few days in Barcelona, a few days Costa Brava, Pyrenese and San sabestan. We have 2 weeks. We would like to know if anyone has suggestions how many days in each place, also whats the best way to get around? Do we need a car for this type of itinerary? Please advise. THanks

San Sebastián is a looooong way from the Costa Brava so I suggest you narrow down your preffered area first.

What if we fly between cities. We were thinking maybe visit costa brava, then rent a car do some of the Pyrenees and then fly to san sabasten? Any suggestions.
