Has the air conditioning issues been resolved at the Crane??

Love theCrane. However, when I last stayed in the summer of 2009, had to be moved twice as the air conditioning did not work. Finally, had to stay in either building 8 or 9 to actually have a unit with air. We were just there and stayed at Accra. Only because of the airconditioning issue we experienced in the past.

Barbados is a beautiful island. Love the restaurants, and the true carribean feel. It's so nice to go to an island and not feel like you are in the states. I don't need to see McDonalds, Pizza hut, etc.

So, those of you that have recently stayed at the Crane, please advise as to the status of the air conditioning. Would love to go back to the Crane. Especially since the village is complete. Can't wait to see it.

Thanks to all that reply!

We were in build 2 this past weekend, and the aircon was "working" but rubbish - the only thing that let it down really.

I love the Crane, air con or not. It has never been an issue for us but we are from Florida and used to heat. We are going back in May so we will see. We've always gone in September when it has been so humid and just cranked the air up and shut the bedroom door so at least it was cool in there.
