1-2 night's rental advice

Does anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive place to stay for 1-2 nights prior to our rental. We will be renting in Duck starting Sunday, July 10, and will be coming for my Daughter's wedding. We would like to arrive on Friday to take care of some last minute details, so we can enjoy everyone's company when they arrive for the week. It doesn't have to be close to the beach, just something with room to sleep about 6, and somewhere from KDH or north.

Maybe you can find something here:

You may have a problem with hotels/motels requiring a 3 night minimum stay as you'll be renting in the high season. Oh well, it is just one extra night in your case.

I'd start calling now, and I bet you can get a two night deal.

Good luck.

I know it's farther south than you wanted, but Surf Side in Nags Head does have a 2 night minimum.
