Dining/things to do in February!

Going down to the OBX this weekend, staying in Manteo, but looking for a nice late Valentine day dinner, along with some nice places to go, she wants to see the dunes/walk out on them.

Any advice?

Actually walking on the dunes is forbidden , but there are plenty of walk overs I suggest heading south of Oregon inlet to Pea island and look for them .

Sugar creek I think is open and a good place to eat right on the road to Nags Head from Manteo

Basnight's is outstanding. A lot of restaurants may be closed for the winter. Fisherman;s Wharf is nice too.

Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe @ 7623 South Virginia Dare Trail, Nags Head, NC 252 - 441 - 5405.
