Power Outlet at Park Royal.


Travelling to Penang on Thursday and am wondering if the Park Royal has australian power outlets or do i need to buy a converter.

Yes, you will need a converter. The hotel is fitted for the UK system.

Hi We found that the hotel had them to borrow that was the Holiday Inn we took one but found we need 2 as everthing needs charging these days

We take a small powerboard with us when we travel. As mosiewigs said everything needs charging these days and we found a double adaptor just didn't cut it.

True, they do use the UK three pin plug fitting. If you have two pin there is an easy way around it. You can purchase locally in Penang a plastic adapter, plugs straight into the wall socket and allows you to plug in your two pin charger etc. Do check the voltage though.
