Soda piedra mar

I'm going to be travelling to Santa Teresa for a day trip from Montezuma. We would like a little seafood place for that is open for lunch that is delicious and reasonable. I have heard this soda is good. Any opinions? And are they closed for any days during the week?

I am not sure what day Piedra Mar is closed. But, if you get there and find it is closed, check out any of the restaurants in the area....everyone serves seafood!

Just so you know....Piedra Mar is no longer on the beach in Mal Pais, (a location it has had for years, which made it a very 'quaint' soda)....it is now located in Santa Teresa on a hill directly below the Horizon Hotel and Brisas del Mar restaurant, and above Basta Pasta restaurant.

thanks, does the move mean its expensive now too? If someone was looking for a seafood resto would you recommend them or another resto?

Most of the area restaurants and sodas have fish on their menus. It depends on how much you want to spend and how fancy of a meal you are looking for. You can spend from $8 - 30 depending on where and what seafood you order..... Basically pick a restaurant ..... there are plenty to choose from. If you want inexpensive and rice and beans and fish, then go to a soda...if you want fancy sauces and designer dishes....pick a restaurant at the top end of the scale. Even many sodas offer langosta and shrimp and ceviche.
