Hiya everyone,

Have been to Petra three times now, always second two weeks in June. Apart from the odd time or two, the bars on the square and seafront were usually closing up around 1am. We did go into Molyvos this year for a "daft " night out, but wondered if it was much busier and the bars open later in Petra in July & August?

Hi Jackie

When we were in Petra the Panagia Glykofilousa had it's celebrations ..Started on the 14th August and was still going on the 16th when we flew out. Great to see and lots of stalls set up dancing and live music that last most of the night...Very busy with all the Greek families ..Special set menu's and you can reserve tables was good fun and they welcome you to join in everything ! Mind you we arrived on the 2nd August and most places seem to be open quite late.

Hope that helps.
