Hey

Given that you are staying in Rhodes Town, Rhodes Greece, I suspect Greek fare would be prevalent. There will be subtle Turkish influences in some.restaurants n Italian in others given the history of Rhodes. It is the capital and is a cruise hub and is a cosmopolitan city. If you want 'authentic' head off the beaten track.down side streets in the Old Town You will also find more Steak/fish/chips etc

Hi.

As Mart says a great variety of food in the Old Town. Just follow every alleyway and you will find a new "square" full of restaurants. I would avoid the restaurants at the front of the New Market overlooking the harbour as they tend to be overpriced. A few good eateries inside the market that serve good food and drink at very good prices.

Cheers

The restaurants on the main street in the old town are very touristy and a few can rip you off. Always check the prices before ordering as some have a nasty little habit of having the price section rubbed out, they will then charge what they like and they are not frightened to put in a hefty sum.

As previous posts say, venture off the beaten track and you will find more authentic restaurants with excellent food at reasonable prices.
