Suggestions for best winery to tour and have lunch.

I have been searching for wineries near Montalcino to tour and also to have lunch at. I know about Banfi & Barbi. I'd be interested in hearing about other suggestions you may have. We'd like to do this before going to Sant' Antimo to hear the Gregorian Chant at around 1:45, so I'd like to find somewhere that isn't too far away.

Thanks in advance for your ideas!

I have been to Barbi a dozen or more times, the last time two months ago and have never seen the 5 euro charge actually being charged

Thanks. I did not find that page, I think I was looking at the cellar tour instead.

Been to both Barbi and Poggio Antico. Tour at Poggio Antico and the view from the restaurant are great.Beautiful property. Food is very expensive, run by famous chef, not the vineyard. I believe it is one star Michelin so it is pricey.

If Barbi is open, I would go there. We have eaten there half a dozen times and always had good food and more reasonably priced. My wife really prefers it. It is very close to SantAntimo vs. Poggio Antico.
