Are there any options near Manual Antonio for fishing that are $300 + or -? Most that I've seen are $600 - $800. I'm not saying that is not worth it, but we are willing to go on a smaller boat for 4 or 5 hours. Catching a fish would be a bonus. So would seeing a whale.

In Huatulco and elsewhere we have, at times fished for 4 hours for $180 (Coco charters) but I know that was not Georges normal price. We left as friends and that is priceless. Any suggestions regarding fishing in Uvita area would be greatly appreciated. :)

With fuel prices the highest in Central America (nearly $6 a USG) and with 100% tax on motor parts does not make it cheap in Costa Rica for boat charters and ofshore fishing. In Uvita all these do charters I know of

Or out of Sierpe with http://www.perladelsur.net

Pelican Tours has the best price at $450 for half day then as above I listed acording to Pricing.

Thank you very much for the advice. Fuel is expensive. In Canada we have been over $5.50 a US gal (3.785L) for ever. Not to mention the cost of equipment and other stuff. I will check out the sites you have suggested! Have a good one.
