Local pint of lager from just 90 cents a pint (if you know where to go l.o.l.) Large spirit with mixer around 3- 3.50 euros. Cheapie cans of lager from supermarkets start from around 20 cents a can and a bottle of wine from around 3 euros. If you pay 3.50 euro for a pint of local lager your being ripped off. Shop around bars like M & M's and Tiffany's are great value with the local "Tropical" lager at just 1.50 euro a pint and "Strongbow" just 3 euro a pint. Food is available everywhere both cheap and expensive. For those on a budget places like San Miguel's and Sabbidans offer cheap acceptable foods to suit all tastes, many outlets do a takeaway service Sabbidan's is great for this with lovely spit roast chicken with chips and salad around 4.50 euros.

Do look out for "Menu del dia" (meal of the day) boards outside the restaurants, or go in and ask, again great value for money with 2 courses and a drink starting from around 7 euros. Best advise is "Seek and ye shall find" L.O.L.

Hi all,

When you say local beer is that San Mig?

I have drunk this, and enjoyed it, in Tenereife.
