Moose Lodge

Can anybody go to the Moose Lodge? We stayed a couple years ago next door to it and wondered if we were welcome. We will be at the same building this year.

The Moose Lodge #1601 on AMI

is open to men and women who

join Moose International, a charitable

organization. When you arrive on

AMI, go in and ask for a form so that

you can join. New dues for 2012 are

$40 per year and the International

arm requests a donation of $182.50

per year so that they can support

their orphanage, Mooseheart, and

their elderly housing complex in

Jacksonville, FL, Moosehaven.

Donations are made when you

attend or support social functions

that take place at the lodge.

We are members at the AMI Lodge and our dues are $60.00 a year and there are no request for donations. We love our little lodge, very friendly people, great view and good drink prices.

You do have to be a member and you will need a sponsor. I would suggest that you go in and talk to the guy in charge and see if he could sponsor you. They do have an open enrollment a couple fo times a year, usually during the summer and anyone can go in then, you might call and find out when they plan to do that.

We belong to a Moose Club in Ohio. We went to the Moose on AMI last year on spring break. Got treated better there than we get treated at our own Moose. AMI Moose a great place.
