Travel to Coorg by car

I am planning a 5 day stay at Coorg in April. I will be flying in to Mysore, travel to Coorg by car - stay there for 3 days and then travel to Banagaluru for onward flight. Could you suggest any reliable car hire agencies for such a 5 day car journey. Also, any information on ballpark cost and the travel times involved in the Mysore/Bengaluru journeys would be very helpful.

You could use BITS or Smartway Travel in Mysore. It may be a better idea to get a Coorg vehicle from an agency like Coorg Trails to meet you and drop you at Bangalore as then you would only pay for local running while in Coorg.

Mysore Bangalore Airport would take 4 hours.

Hi,Mysore - Coorg will take around max of 2 hours depending on where you stay in Coorg & with breaks.

Its around 120 kms.

Book a cab in Mysore for Mysore-Coorg-Mysore & then travel to Bangalore from Mysore through KSRTC Airawat,Club Class Volvo service,.This will work out cheaper for you.
