Naoussa Rooming Help

Hello

we are looking for help in deciding on a room for June visit. we have settled on Noussa, Paros after reading all the many many posts. It sounds delightful to walk into town, walk to beaches... tavernas in the evening, etc.

we want a place with a fridge and small hotplate for heating up leftovers from restaurants, and a small safe in the room. close to bus, but close to ocean..

does that exist ? i can't tell off the mapquest and expedia maps...

These are the ones i see that are good:

Manos has been reccommended, Scorpio Studios, Roussa's, Hotel Christina, Despina's Rooms, and Alexandros Studios...

what opinions do you have as to which is in the best location and has the great view maybe ?

we will be staying 5 nights.

we really like to go as inexpensive as possible, but, will splurge when we need to to have

a nice room in a good location.

Thank you for your help

Scorpio studios are lovely and Kiki is a wonderful host. They have all the facilities you require and if you choose studio 5 or 6 you will have huge flower filled balconies balconies. It is only a 5 minute stroll into town or down to the bus stop. There is also a lovely bakery nearby. It is situated away from the harbour area and does not have the views over the sea but the facilities, convenience and the owners more than make up for that. Good luck in your search.

I agree with Bellanova - Scorpio Studios is a great place to stay. We have stayed with Kiki and Michalis more times than I can remember. They are great hosts - the studios are kept spotlessly clean and they are very well equipped. The studios are set in well established gardens which are really lovely. We have recommended Kiki and Michalis to friends who are visiting in July and we will be back in September.

Hi Yorkiegal

Looking at possibly booking the Scorpio as we are going to be in Naoussa for 3 nights. Haven't stayed in Naoussa before, only done day trips and evening trips. Can you tell me are we near a beach staying in Scorpio. They do look clean and pretty and not too expensive, as we are trying to keep the budget down with 4 people. Any other ideas from you experts of being there before in Scorpio and Naoussa, gratefully appreciated. Thanks

Scorpio Studios are about a 15 minute walk to quite a nice beach with gently sloping sand. It normally is clean and not very crowded.

Scorpio Studios are great - you can save a lot of money by self-catering there when you want - the kitchens are really well equipped and a bakery is 1 minute away. It also sells, eggs, beer, milk, water ,etc. A mini-market with vegetables is 2 minutes away but the supermarket 15 minutes away is cheaper.
