Walk to Cala Llonga or Es Canar

I'm looking at a Google map of the area around S.E. but there is no scale on it. Is it possible to walk along the coast to either of these resorts? How far away are they? How long would it take to walk to either?

Thanks

I believe it is about 3 miles to Es Cana and about 4 miles to Cala Llonga depending on where in each resort you start and finish. Some distances may be slightly less. Await an Ibiza expert to give a more accurate idea but this answer keeps it bumped up the list !

We walked to Cala Llonga in June from the Don Carlos hotel in Siesta. It was a really nice walk and not too challenging! Even my parents (83, 79) have walked it although they got the bus back!

yes you can walk all the way from Santa Eulalia back to Es Cana along the coast.

From Santa Eulalia just go round the road behind the Marina, and behind a hotel and across a wooded headland to the large Sol Ibiza hotel either go in front or through it's grounds or behind.

Then it's just straight along the low cliff footpath past various bays, beaches, watering holes, until Cala Martinez which at the far end for the last 10 mins you have to take the road back to the centre of Es Cana, as the cliff route is blocked by some houses/hotel just south of Es Cana.

We were in SE only last week and decided to walk from the harbour in SE to Es Cana. We got as far as Cala Pada which looking at the map was around just under two thirds of the way and it took us one & half hours, stopping occasionally to take photos.

Hope this gives you some idea of time.

Have posted a reply regarding Meditteraneo on my other forum entry for you.

Although forgot to mention that it would be wise to ask for air conditioning, our first room did'nt and had a sleepless night, also rooms with A/C seem to have been updated and was much nicer than first room.
