RHE Resort Sections

Hi, I'm just trying to figure out what the sections mean for the RHE. We are booked in to the Royal Hideaway Section (the cheapest one). Is the access to the spa section restricted or is it only the Royal Suites that have a restricted access section? Based on the maps I've seen that section is further away from the other 2 sections anyway. I'm just trying to get a feel for what areas of the resort will be accessible to us.

Looking forward to hearing any info people have.

Thanks!!

You can use services at all sections, except the restaurant at Royal Villas that is for their guests only. You can pay extra to eat there.

Check out http://www.royalhideawayensenachos.ca site that has all details, maps, pics about the resort.

Having just returned, I would recommend you request the Spa Section if possible. It is only more expensive if you opt for the Spa Service package. The Spa section has fewer bungalows and is closer to the main building. The pool is a little smaller as well, and didn't see as busy as the Hideaway Sections pool either in the pool or at the bar and restaurant. Also note that most of the rooms have 2 double beds seperated by a dresser. If you want a king size bed, you have to request it. We didn't mind the seperate beds, just played "your place or mine" :)

Hi Patti,

When we booked the trip we requested king size, ocean view. Since it was my hubby's 65th, I emailed and requested ocean view hoping they would make the extra effort. (They didn't respond to the email - sorry, don't know where I got the address)

What we got was king size, ground floor away from the ocean. We asked to change rooms, but since they were at nearly full capacity, they said we'd have to wait for 1 1/2 days to change rooms. By then we had adjusted to our new home away from home, and thought our room was fine.

It is really a beautiful place, and all the rooms are quite spacious with nice outdoor spaces as well. We were very comfortable. We were in the "cheap seats" and really didn't find the walk a big deal at all. It's not like we were in a hurry to get anywhere, and the exercise in not harmful to one's health. My husband has a bad knee, so at the end of the day, if he wasn't up to the walk to dinner, we just called for a ride... no big deal.

Enjoy!
