Safety deposit

We are planning on bringing our laptop (for the plane)- is the safe in the villa big enough to fit a laptop?

If it isn't, would you feel secure leaving it in the room hidden?

Thanks

A lappy will not fit in the safe...lock it up in your suitcase is the only other option.

It is a 15 inch laptop- so I'm assuming it wouldn't fit...

So having been to the Iberostar do you think it would be safe if I locked it in my suitcase?

Thanks!!

Safe as houses...been there 6 times and have never had anything disappear. If it's locked away it cannot be taken...right?...if you feel insecure about it ..take a picture of you locking it away so you have proof that you did it...the doors locks are computerized so they can tell who has been in and out.

We were going to bring our laptop also but decided against it when we were told that there was no wifi in the room or lobby. Has this changed because we would like to bring ours to stay in touch with family......

We were going to bring our to watch movies on the flight, but read they we'll have to declare it at customs when we arrive in Cuba and have to do the same before departure to ensure that we are taking it back with us. We didn't know if it would be a lot of extra hassel so we left it in Calgary.

Definitely no wifi in the lobby and the internet is slow. The sunwing rep jokingly called it cuba-net (instead of internet) because of it's extremely slow speed. One of the ladies we met tried to login to hotmail after purchasing a 30 minute card and she said that she could barely get on it and send only 1 email in that 30 mins.

No wifi in the villas as well.
