Prices, beer food

Sure this is covered somewhere but I can't get the search feature to work.

Going to stalis tomorrow, what should I expect to pay for food and drink, est a beer?

Are there any restaurants that do seafood? Went to Zante a couple of years ago and had the biggest and best lobster I've ever had for 20 euros - hoping for more of the same in stalis!

There is a restaurant specialising in lobster, octopus etc, i might be wrong but its either akti or very close to akti. For 2 courses and a drink you're talking 10-15e. Prices will be advertised as more, but on receiving the bill you will more often than not be treated with a free starter/ice cream/coffee/shot. And you will easily find a beer for 1.5 e

Mmmm we've tried a few of those cheap beers since we've been here and they're cheap for a reason, the quality has been poor. I'd rather pay my 2.50 euros for a bottle of Amstel or Mythos

I don't drink 'lager' at home but I do enjoy the draught Mythos and Amstel when I'm in Stalis. Maybe it's because I'm not normally a beer drinker that I have lower expectations but I always love it :)

I think it's 1.80 at the Rovers Return for a large Lowenbrau, and my other half has definitely never had any complaints! lol Ah well, each to their own :o)

We have found the local lager in the Kaliana 2.00 and Bar Malia 1.60 very good also rovers 190 does the trick the last 3 years we been to Stalis. Im a real ale drinker back home and hubby drinks John Smiths we find Mythos to thick if that makes sense .each to their own though .

The best beer in town is at the Whisper bar near marias. 2.00 for a pint of the hellas pills (most places only serve mythos as the cheap pint) we ended up going there every afternoon for a couple.

Most places charge 2-2.50 for a pint of mythos. The only execeptions I saw was 4 brothers (which is very expensive for beer) and the Nero bar.
