The Museo del Mantecado shows figurines making the sweets and the equipment used to make the sweets. There are explanations of how the sweets are made. There is an exhibit of Andalusia in Sugar, which shows famous monuments of Andalusia made entirely of sugar. Among the buildings portrayed are the Patio of the Lions of the Alhambra, the Mezquita of Cordoba, the Giralda Tower of Seville, and the Tower of Gold of Seville. There are also figures of St. Peter’s Church, Disneyland Castle, Dali and Picasso, the Duchess of Alba, and Michael Jackson. Another display is that of the painting by Velazquez of Las Meninas.
